- There might be a few more new faces in Congress. Here in San Diego we had at least one delayed count with a Democrat prevailing (after several weeks) where a Republic had been ensconced for a long time... Peters won the race over Brian Bilbray, the Republican.

- Wasn't he married at the time of his testicular cancer treatments? I really doubt that they needed a bunch of friends in the room with him since he had his wife by his side. Even good friends would be asked to wait around the corner, in the hallway or something. No kidding.

- Misogynistic style? Any designer who cannot respect and enjoy the shape of a woman's body, including her feet, IS INDEED misogynistic. I really think so. That is design does not conform to or support a woman's foot and it makes a woman look ridiculous when she tries to walk in them.

- I worked for an airline for many years and I will NEVER travel with a beloved pet in cargo. I just don't trust them with those precious lives in the hold. I cannot prove it but I believe that many more dogs suffer but they do not die in transit.

- I believe you completely! It is more prevalent than most people realize and it is shrouded in secrecy. That is how they get away with it. When a victim speaks up, the family traditions and routines crumble and the others don't want to risk it all. They would rather live the lie.
